Hey everyone,

Whelp, guys, my time here at DeviantFART must draw to a dramatic close (if you find it appropriate to call it that). Why? Simple. I don't draw the same amount of entertainment, pleasure, and fun from DeviantART as I did when I first joined it.

Admittedly, I've gotten it better than a lot of artists much more talented than I as far as popularity and fame goes. It's just a shame that talent always lies hidden in the shadows.

This isn't happening for some half-assed reason such as people never commenting on my images, or a low amount of pageviews and fame. Nowadays, I can care less. I just don't like DeviantART anymore. It's been overrun with the kind of people I have little respect for (you know who you are). Not to mention, now that it has gone commercial, some of their guidelines are above and beyond insane. Not that they'd affect my preferences for art, though.

This is mostly happening because I really don't care anymore. My DeviantART page is hogging up pageviews that my site can be gathering. And in all honesty, I care a whoooole lot more about my site than my DeviantART account. I barely ever post here anymore. I don't even remember the last time I commented or favved a pic. All I do with this site is wake up every day and check it for comments. And I don't even look at deviations (even ones my best friends have done).

So in the end, why stay? This message goes out to all of my dedicated admirers. You know, the ones that will still try to catch up on my art even after I quit DA. My site, [link], will house all of my art from here on in. For now, you'll only be able to see my art as I update pages (which, trust me, appear at a similar time rate as here on DA). But soon, I'll make a page devoted solely to showing my art just like here, in a gallery-like template. And I actually find it a whole lot more… well, logical to allow people to view my art through my site. Because not only will they see my art, they'll see my web design skills, and my writing, ideas, conceptions, and perspective on things. Not just a description on a particular image.

So yeah, that's the whole shindig thang. Not leaving with bad feelings, folks. I just don't really find this place necessary anymore.
